Christmas Challenge - Christmas Tin

This is my last project for our annual Christmas Challenge which runs for the Month of December at Come and Get It. Traditional we all take the month off to be able to spend the time with our friends ands and families but what is different this year this that that this year we have decided that this will be our final challenge. We have all enjoyed doing the challenge each week, but due to reasons out of our control, we can no long run the challenge - so the time has come to end it on a good note.  Come and Get It has been running for 6 plus years and I have been on the from nearly the beginning.  I have made so many special friends and enjoyed the challenges using the wonderful images of our lovely sponsors.

To make my decorated popcorn tin I used and image from one of our great sponsors of Come and Get It over the years, Polkadoodles

.  The image is called Rudy, Winnie, and Holly the Christmas Unicorn.  I am going to fill my tin with Christmas goodies for a special friend.

I would like to wish all the design team members , sponsors and participants I have met along this journey a very Merry Christmas and all the Best for 2018.   Remember to enter this last challenge here at Come  and Get It and pop over to our challenge site to enjoy the inspiring cards and projects of our design team. Here Comes Christmas

For this month's mixed media project at Creative Artiste I made a Christmas wall plaque using some creative chipboard from our sponsor Scrapmatts and Papertole

Image may contain: text

I used a Santa's head that I coloured in Panpastels  and stamped with a snowflake design stamp by Stampin Up then added it to the base of my plaque.  I added the chipboard circles and the Believe sentiment from Scrapmatts products. The holy leaves were a Tim Holtz's die cut.  The Santa's hat was covered with glitter and the Christmas ball and bow were added to complete the project.

Thank you for stopping by.  Remember to pop over to our challenge blog top be inspired by our creative design team.  Have a creative month.

Altered Canvas

Time for another challenge at Altered Eclectics this month, as always the theme is altered art or mixed media. I decided to make a altered Christmas canvas for this month's project.  I used many of my bits and pieces from old Christmas ornaments in my project along with some music findings and chipboard from my stash.

I hope everyone has a happy holiday.  Altered Eclectics is taking a break for the month of January so we will see you again in the beginning of February.

Thank you for stopping by.  Have a creative month.  Remember to stop by our challenge blog to view the projects of our inspiring design team members.

Christmas Tree Canvas

I am back with another project for Eclectic Ellapu.  I have made a christmas tree canvas using some old christmas pieces along with beads, gems, paint, stencils and recycled jewelry from my stash.

It was a fun project to make.  This is the last challenge of the year at Eclectic Ellapu.   I hope you will join in.  We are taking a break in January but will be back in February for more creative fun.
